Join us September 10, 2017 for the South Valley Celebration!‚Äč

Bernalillo County’s annual South Valley Celebration, normally held each spring, has been scheduled for Sept. 10, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Westside Community Center, 1250 Isleta Blvd SW. 

“Bernalillo County is committed to highlighting the strong spirit of our many South Valley and District 2 communities,” Commission Vice Chair Steven Michael Quezada says. “I’m confident that our excellent Parks and Recreation Department will help organize another outstanding community celebration.”




Entertainers Wanted

The Annual South Valley Celebration is coming on Sunday, Sept. 10, and we are looking for entertainers! We love to highlight the talent of our community and look forward to seeing you on our stage!
Just fill out the attached application form below and mail or hand-deliver the completed application to Westside Community Center, 1250 Isleta Blvd. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105 or email to cgarrison@bernco.gov. Parade Entries Wanted 

The  Annual South Valley Celebration Parade is a great way to showcase your organizations, school talents, or business. Marching bands, cheerleaders and a variety of organizations and business will show their talents by being a part of this exciting community pride event.
Deadline for parade entries is September 4th, 2017.
Mail the application form below to: Mountain View Community Center, 201 Prosperity S.E. Albuquerque, New Mexico 87105.

Outstanding Citizen Award

The South Valley Celebration Outstanding Citizen Award was created in order to recognize exceptional South Valley citizens for their civic services and various voluntary contributions to our community. This award strives to showcase these incredible South Valley residents for their dedication to hard work and their many positive attributes. Nominate a friend, family member, coach, teacher, church or community member who you believe to be an Outstanding Citizen by filling out the attached form.

Nominations for the South Valley Pride Day 2017 Outstanding Citizen Awards will be accepted through Monday, August 21, 2017.
A nomination form, together with a one or two-page biography describing the deserving nominee must be submitted to Mountain View Community Center, 201 Prosperity SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87105 or via email to bmartinez@bernco.gov
