    Violent Crimes Unit Arrest

    On August 15, 2019, at about 1:00 pm the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office responded to an armed robbery at a store in the 1800 block of Coors Boulevard.

    On July 27, 2019 at about 10:29 pm, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for service in the 100 block of Ortega Road, in reference to a female being held hostage. The calling party advised his roommate, Joseph McDonald (37) had held his girlfriend hostage and bound for several days.

    On July 21, 2019, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office Gang Recognition and Intelligence Patrol Unit conducted an operation in downtown Albuquerque, with assistance from the Community Action Team.

    July 14, 2019 - The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office seized forty pounds of Marijuana during traffic stop. At about 8:10AM, a traffic stop was conducted on eastbound Interstate 40 near mile marker 149.
