Tiny Home Village Follow-Up Community Meeting Scheduled

01/31/2017

Bernalillo County Commissioner Debbie O’Malley and City Councilor Diane Gibson invite the community to a follow-up meeting about the planning and development of a tiny home village.

The tiny home village project will engage community members who want to participate and assist the homeless or near-homeless populations. The project will work to provide safe and stable housing as well as personal development and assistance to residents returning to a life of self-sufficiency.

The community meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 2 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at the McKinley Community Center, 3401 Monroe St. NE.

An initial community meeting was held on Jan. 19 to introduce the project to the public and to collect comments and ideas that will help to guide the project’s planning and development.
