Bernalillo County to Begin Construction of Largest Splash Pad in the State

"Bernalillo County listened to the desires and needs of south valley residents,” says County Commission Chair, Steven Michael Quezada. “The state and the county continue to work as one to improve services to the families of Bernalillo County.” BernCo is building a new splash pad next to the South Valley Swimming Pool. This addition to the South Valley pool was made possible with a 2016 legislative grant of $400,000 along with county bond funds. Construction is expected to take about 3 months with the grand opening slated for Labor Day weekend.
