South Valley MainStreet is a grassroots economic development nonprofit organization formed to assist the South Valley community in revitalizing its traditional commercial district near Bridge and Isleta Boulevards.

MainStreet operates in a collaborative environment using human capital, grant funds, and technical resources to support businesses while preserving local cultural and historic assets.


Board Meetings

Board meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of odd months from 5 – 7:30 p.m at South Valley Economic Development Center. Dates and times of board meetings are subject to change.

Networking

Join us for TAZA Networking Meetings on Thursdays from  9 - 10 a.m. These are  weekly networking meeting for South Valley business owners held at the South Valley Economic Development Center. Each week, a local entrepreneur will briefly tell their story and talk about the barriers they experience. The event is bilingual and free coffee is provided.

  • Join District Commissioner James Smith and Bernalillo County Economic Development on Sept. 8, 2018 for “Broadband Challenges in the East Mountains,” a conversation with panelists regarding the challenges to achieving reliable, consistent internet service. The event will take place at 8:30 a.m. at Los Vecinos Community Center, 478 NM-333, in Tijeras. Attendees will enjoy a panel discussion, question-and-answer session, facilitated table discussions and a networking session. Seating is limited! Register at Los Vecinos Community Center or Vista Grande Community Center, or email EcoDevEventRSVP@bernco.gov. This is a free event.
