Job Fair Happening Tomorrow

Bernalillo County – Commissioner Steven Michael Quezada and City Councilor Klarissa J. Peña invite job seekers to attend the Expanding Horizons on the West Side Job Fair, Wednesday, Sept. 6.

Employers at the event will be actively hiring. Attendees should bring résumés and dress for success.

The job fair will take place:

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

South Valley Multipurpose Senior Center

2008 Larrazolo Rd. SW, 87105

The companies that will be represented at the job fair include:

· The Rio at Las Estancias

· Route 66 (Laguna Development Corporation)

· Sheraton Albuquerque

· Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center

Attendees can also participate in job-hunting workshops that will include topics such as tips for interviewing and résumé writing that will be happening throughout the event.
