Absentee information and/or an Absentee Ballot Application for the 2019 Regular Local Election 

An absentee ballot can be cast by any eligible voter.

An absentee ballot must be requested by a voter prior to an election by filling out an Absentee Ballot Application.

Request an absentee ballot application:

  • Call the Bernalillo County Clerk’s Office at (505) 243-VOTE (8683), option 2
  • Email your request to clerk@bernco.gov
  • Pick up an application at our office located at One Civic Plaza, NW 6th Floor
  • Download the application here
  • Fill out an online absentee ballot application on the NM Secretary of State website (click here)

The last day for our office to mail absentee ballots is the Friday before each election.
