Bernalillo County Water Level Project

On February 1, 2010, Bernalillo County launched a new groundwater level monitoring project.  Some areas of the County, particularly the East Mountains and North Albuquerque Acres,  are heavily dependent on domestic wells for water supply and rapid water level declines are occurring.  The County wants to be able to monitor water levels in those areas and be able to advise area residents when such conditions occur.  A downloadable copy of the information flyer and a copy of the application/participation agreement are available by clicking under the “Current Projects” list in the right side menu of this page.
